Alpaca is very soft and baby alpaca is even softer with extremely fine fibres. It's warmer than sheepswool thanks to hollow core fibres that trap heat making it an amazing yarn for the colder months. Durable, moisture and water resistant and hypoallergenic (lanolin free). Alpacas are gentle on the earth with soft padded feet, low water use and efficient grazing habits.
