Bibico

Bath, England
Bibico began in 2007 when Snow (Nieves) quit her designing job for a leading high street retailer. She knew there was a better way, a fairer way of doing business. She was fed up with the relentless churning out of new designs for clothes made from cheap, synthetic fabrics and sourced from questionable factories. She knew the importance of treating suppliers with respect and fairness and of working with natural yarns and not cheap, synthetic fabrics, so she decided to make a change.
Fast forward to 2025, and Snow designs a seasonal, beautiful, easy-to-wear clothing range made from high quality natural & organic certified fabrics which are made ethically by producers she knows and trusts. She runs the business from the South West of England with her husband Tim. We share their slow fashion journey here, with a small selection each year, always encompassing the seasons essentials from the Bibico label.

Ian Snow

Devon, England
Ian left Liverpool in 1969 at the age of 19 to hitch-hike to India on his own. He did fencing jobs on farms and saved up £70 for his trip.
56 years later, and Ian Snow is managed by Daisy, his twenty something - and a dedicated team of creatives. It's a labour of love and passion, travelling to India each year and working alongside the most creative artisans she can find.
They’re based on a beautiful piece of land in North Devon dedicating their lives to their localised food production, land based sustainability, telling their stories far and wide, and of course their ethical retail store. A family of pioneers.
